I’m kicking off my holiday gift guides in a very Oprah-ish way today. These are a few of my favorite things. I have and love each of these products, and before I recommend any other gifts this holiday season, I’m recommending these.
This is not a sponsored post. I simply love these things and think you, your friends, moms, sisters, and daughters will love them, too.
Stadium Coat | I love this coat so much that I have it in two colors. It fits wonderfully and keeps you warm and stylish at the same time. I think every girl needs a colorful coat to get them through the dreary days of winter. This one comes in 8 colors and is eligible for free shipping.
Leopard Clutch | This clutch has been on repeat for the last few years, and I cannot recommend it enough. Everyone’s closet needs a little leopard. This clutch is the perfect touch, and it’s a great accessory for day or night. You can see how I style it HERE, HERE, and HERE. Oh, and it’s under $40.
Kindle | I’ve been raving about my Kindle e-reader all year. I am a proud bookworm, but I never thought I’d be able to give up paper books. The Kindle has completely changed that for me. I love the ability to carry a library full of books in a super compact package. It’s perfect for travel, and makes it easy to read anywhere on-the-go (usually in the carpool line). They’ll/you’ll need a cute cover, too.
Barefoot Dreams Throw | Earlier this year, we traveled to Park City, Utah for my mister’s 40th birthday. The girls enjoyed a spa day, and we all fell in love with these amazingly soft throws in the lounge area. They’re a perfect gift for the home and come in 3 colors. You could even have them monogrammed for a special touch.
Le Creuset Dutch Oven | My mister gave me one of these for our anniversary years ago. Although some wives might be offended by that, I thought it was the perfect gift. He knows I love to cook, and I use this pot almost every day. It is a workhorse–perfect for soups, stews, roasting chicken and beef, and so much more. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s an incredible investment. It comes in so many gorgeous colors so you can give it a permanent place on your stove. Williams-Sonoma will price match it, and you can get 20% off + free shipping with code FRIENDS.
Beachwaver Pro | Another one of those gifts where my husband hit it out of the park. I use this rotating curling iron to define my natural curls and also to create beach waves and fuller hair when I blow it out straight. It takes some getting used to (learning how to use the left and right buttons and letting the device do the curling for you), but after I watched a couple of You Tube videos and tried it on myself, I couldn’t live without it. This is the kind of thing a woman might be hesitant to buy herself, which means it’s a great gift idea!
Ginger Souffle Body Cream | Oprah introduced me to this luxurious body cream back in the 90s. It smells heavenly, and it has a light, whipped texture that you’ll want to bathe in. Treat the ladies on your list, and maybe buy it for yourself, also.
Naked2 Eye Palette | I’ve been a fan of this cult-favorite for years. It contains all the eye shadow colors you need for everyday makeup, plus some fun ones you can get creative with for nighttime and special occasions. I use Pinterest tutorials for the latter 🙂 This would make a great gift for any girl who either already loves beauty products or who might need a little help with makeup.
Child Perfume | I bought a bottle of this perfume when I was pregnant with Grace. That was over 12 years ago, and I still have the same bottle even though I use it daily. It’s an oil with a rollerball, so you lightly dab your wrists or neck. The scent is lovely–lightly floral, but also warm. Trust me on this. Child is also a cult-favorite that many celebrities love, too.
Nike Sneakers | There are two pairs of shoes I wear multiple times a week: these and the booties you’ll also find on this list. I’ve gushed about these slip-on sneakers before (they have built-in socks!), and I cannot recommend them enough. They’re comfortable, and you’ll pretty much want to wear them every day. Nike’s tend to run small on me, so I ordered a 1/2 up for a perfect fit.
BaubleBar Earrings | I’m not ashamed of my love for statement earrings. I wear them almost every day, and people always compliment them. BaubleBar is my favorite place to find statement earrings like the ones you’ve seen HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE. This holiday season, BaubleBar some great statement earring sets. Think multiple pairs of fun studs, tassels, and drops all packaged and ready for gifting (including THIS TASSEL SET with over 100 combinations, a $248 value for $72!!). You could even break up the sets for more budget-friendly gifts. Right now, you can get 25% off 2+ earrings with code EARRINGS25 or 20% one pair with code EARRINGS20.
Satin Pajamas | Is it odd that I collect satin pajamas? I just adore these. They’re silky soft, and they make you feel so good. These come in 10 colors and multiple sizes and lengths. Perfect for the girl who has everything or anyone who needs something cute to lounge and sleep in.
Cooking for Jeffrey | I adore Ina Garten, and I’ve been watching her show and buying her cookbooks for many years. We share a philosophy on cooking–that it’s not work, but rather a way to love and serve your friends and family. This cookbook is my favorite. Not only does it contain delicious recipes and beautiful pictures, but she shares the details of her relationship with her husband Jeffrey. It’s the sweetest love story, and a book every home cook would adore.
Agate Coasters | My sister gave me a set of these agate coasters several Christmases ago, and I’ve gifted them to many loved ones since then. Sure, they’re just coasters, but they come in tons of pretty colors and look lovely in any home. They have over 200 5-star reviews, so I know I’m not the only one who loves them.
Gel Nail Kit | My sister-in-law gave me this gel nail kit years ago, and it’s like the gift that keeps on giving. I have literally saved hundreds of dollars–or maybe more–by doing my own gel nails. The kit comes with everything you need for gel manicures, including the LED light (not a dangerous UV one) and all the accessories. I love all these colors from THIS gel polish line (currently wearing a gorgeous navy, Deep Blue Sea).
Capri Blue Candles | Capri Blue Volcano has been my home’s “signature” for years and years. My friends and family know this, so I now have Capri Blue candles all over the house (including one of the colossal ones with a 250 hour burn time). During the holidays, I love Capri Blue’s seasonal scents in their gorgeous jars, especially Spiced Cider and Fir & Firewood. The medium and small sizes make hostess/teacher/friends gifts. All of these are 20% off right now.
Ugg Slippers | I received these as a gift almost 10 years ago, and I still adore them. When I get home at the end of the day, I slip into these and my satin pajamas. I’ll admit they’re not the cutest slippers, but I made the mistake of ordering a cute pair from J.Crew last year. I realized this week that the soles had completely cracked, and there was a giant hole in the toe area. I only wore them around the house (not for running!) and for them not to last even a year was really disappointing. But, it reaffirmed my love for my old Ugg slippers. And I just saw that they now have a pom pom version. Gift these to someone you love!
Yeti Tumbler | I carry this tumbler everywhere all year. It keep my coffee hot, and my water warm, and I adore the mint color. It also comes in blue, black, olive, and stainless steel. It has a magnet slider lid that keeps it closed to prevent spillage–which is so smart and helpful. If you already have a Yeti, you can separately purchase the magnet lids HERE. They would make great stocking stuffers. My husband loves his!
Zippered Booties | These are my go-to booties, and I’ve been telling everyone about them. They’re buttery soft and fit like a dream. I almost always get blisters from new shoes, but I never got them with these. The heel is low, which makes them perfect for everyday wear. They look equally cute with jeans, leggings, and dresses. Also in black.
Bobbi Brown Art Sticks | Bobbi Brown is the queen of classic beauty. I’ve always loved her lipsticks and glosses, but this year, I fell for her art sticks. It’s basically lip liner and lipstick in one. You can purchase them individually, but this set has a great nude, medium pink, and fun hot pink shade.
Patagonia Pullover | This is the coziest, comfiest pullover ever! The kitten-soft fleece material has become super popular in the last couple of years, but it is usually only on the outside of the jacket. Here, the material is also on the inside, as well. You’ll never want to take it off. It’s so amazing, in fact, that I also have the jacket version. And, it comes in a vest, as well. I sized up to a medium in the pullover for a more relaxed fit, but I have a regular small in the jacket. Everyone on your list will want one of these, and it even makes a great gift for those hard-to-shop-for tweens and teens. My daughters are hoping Santa brings these!
