*I originally scheduled this post for Monday, but after the events in Las Vegas, it seemed trivial. My heart is still heavy, and as a mom, I’ve been struggling with how to explain this tough situation to my babies and how to make them feel safe. I know we’re all heartbroken right now, and words aren’t enough. It’s always difficult in times like this to find a balance between continuing with our lives and properly acknowledging the heartbreak. I don’t know the solution, but as I move forward with blogging, I do so with enormous gratitude for even having that choice.
Today’s outfit is one I’m calling a perfect fall outfit. I’m guilty of over-using the word “perfect,” but trust me when I tell you that this outfit is actually pretty perfect.
It’s casual and cozy and just the thing for sipping your pumpkin spice lattes–although since it was 90+ degrees outside when we shot these pics, I was actually sipping on an iced latte 🙂
Let’s pretend it’s a cool fall day and you want to be comfortable, but stylish. This, friends, is your outfit.
I’m so in love with this cowl neck pullover. It has a relaxed fit, drapes nicely, and is long enough to wear with leggings. Plus, it comes in 5 colors. I’m wearing an XS/S, which is recommended for sizes 4-8.
Cowl necks make it difficult to wear a necklace, but how cute are these statement earrings? I love the blush pink with the green. Remember: blush pink is very “in” this season and is one of those trends you can actually wear!
The earrings are lightweight and always garner a ton of compliments. They’re also available in blue, turquoise, yellow, and coral.
My exact jeans are sold out at the moment, but this pair is very similar. I’ve had such good luck with this brand and still cannot believe they’re priced so well (as in $64 for most pairs). I have this distressed pair, these cropped ones, and these white ones. All have washed and worn well. They’re super stretchy so I always size down one.
Do you have these booties yet? Oh my goodness. They’re a fall must-have, for sure. I love the grey suede because it goes with everything, but they also have black, a gorgeous cognac, and a tan suede. They run a bit large, so I ordered a 1/2 size down for the best fit.
I shared about Fotostrap last week, and my bag is the Highland Tote in cognac. It’s the perfect fall color, and it deepens with age. These make lovely gifts because seriously, who wouldn’t want a bag with a gorgeous gold monogram?

I hope today’s post gave you some fall outfit inspiration. Remember my post about Fall Must-Haves? This perfect fall outfit combine 4 of those 10 pieces and is just one example of how you can mix and match those pieces all season…and year after year after year!
