I’m back today sharing about the pants I never thought I’d wear. If you caught Tuesday’s post, you already know I’m talking about Spanx faux leather leggings.
It’s been interesting to hear your reaction to these pants. I took a poll on my Instagram Story, and it was split down the middle. Half of you are fans, and half of you are not. I totally get that. If you’re in the “not a fan” camp, then both of these outfits would still look amazing with regular black leggings. THESE are the ones I’ve had for years and love. Order a size down for the best fit.
One friend told me she never imagined me as a “leather pants person,” but she was surprised at how normal and cute they looked 🙂 As I’ve said before, I’m not always a trend follower and really prefer to stick to the basics (like my Fall Must-Haves). But, I took a chance on these, and it paid off.
In Part 1 of this series, I styled the faux leather leggings with the comfiest plaid shirt and ballet flats. This look, Part 2, is more nighttime appropriate. I’d wear this outfit for date night or dinner out with friends.
As with Tuesday’s outfit, all of these pieces can be worn multiple ways. In fact, this tunic is something I own in three colors (it comes in 9!) and regularly pair with jeans from fall through spring. It’s a steal for under $30.
My fur vest (also faux) is a piece I’ve had for years. It’s not essential to this outfit, but I like the texture it adds (and the extra warmth which is good for cold restaurants). Mine is no longer available, but I hunted down several options for you.
All of my accessories are similarly versatile. This statement necklace is neutral and compliments anything. I also adore these heels. They come in tons of colors and are even appropriate for the office or church.
This bag is another winner and one that you may recognize from this post. I love that you can wear it as a shoulder or crossbody bag, or you can tuck the handle in and use it as a clutch.
One of my favorite parts of blogging is sharing my style finds with you. I know you’re busy women and often don’t have time to shop for yourselves. Or you get overwhelmed trying to find pieces that fit your style.
Thank you for trusting me to be your virtual personal shopper, and thank you for supporting this blog with your purchases. It truly means the world to me!
