As I mentioned last week, my favorite sale of the year starts very soon, and you don’t want to miss it. To help you prepare, I’m sharing what you need to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017.
I hope you’ll take some time this weekend to learn more about the sale with this guide and by browsing a bit on Nordstrom’s site. Early Access to the sale starts next week, so it will be a busy one here on the blog.
I’ve also added this info in a new page on my Menu Bar and sidebar- just click on Nordstrom Sale for all the latest info. My goal is to make shopping easier for you and to help you save a ton of money during this epic sale.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 runs from July 21-August 6. Early Access allows Nordstrom cardholders the exclusive privilege to shop the sale a week earlier than the general public.
Early Access runs from July 13-July 20. This is the very best time to shop and ensures you’ll scoop up some amazing deals before they sell out. That’s right–the best deals will sell out during Early Access. It happens every.single.year.
You’ll need a Nordstrom card to get Early Access. Get approved by July 9 for a Nordstrom credit card, and you’ll get Early Access plus a $20 Nordstrom Note to use during the sale. The card also offers plenty of perks and lots of ways to earn Nordstrom Notes (aka “free money”) throughout the year with double and triple point days.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is unlike most any other sale. Instead of marking down current season pieces to make way for next season, Nordstrom actually gives you an opportunity to purchase next season’s styles at drastically reduced prices.
Many stores are clearing out their summer styles to make way for fall/winter, and lots of summer pieces are on sale now. But, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is your chance to save HUGE on fall and winter styles.
I know it might be hard to wrap your mind around coats, booties, Back-to-School shopping, and Christmas gifts in the middle of the summer, but trust me–the prices are so low that you’ll want to take advantage of them during the Anniversary Sale. You can stock your closet, get your kids ready for school, and mark off just about everyone on your holiday gift list for a fraction of what you’d spend in November/December.
What is the best way to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
WARNING: trying to shop in-store during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is madness. Seriously, women (and even some men) get crazy, like Black Friday crazy during this sale. The best way to shop is online. Just come back here, and I’ll have all the best deals for you starting July 13.
If you have a nearby Nordstrom, select “In-Store Pickup” for your order after you add items to your cart. No need for shipping. Nordstrom also offers free Curbside Pickup. You just call the number on the sign out front, and someone brings your order to your car! How easy is that? It’s especially nice when you don’t want to get your kids out of the car during the summer heat…trust me, I use it often.
If you don’t have a Nordstrom in your area, Nordstrom always offers free shipping and free (super easy) returns. It’s risk-free shopping at its best.
How can I find out what’s included in the Sale?
You can view the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog online through this link. Once Early Access begins, I’ll be posting here and on my Instagram and Facebook with my favorite finds. Check back often so you don’t miss a thing. If you’re a Joyful Home subscriber, you’ll always be the first to know about new posts.
You can also get an idea of the things I tend to shop for during the sale (and check out those incredible savings) by looking at my posts from last summer’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
This year, I’ll be tackling even more categories like Babies & Kids (Back to School shopping), Men, Beauty, Home Decor, and Holiday Gifts.
Help! I still don’t understand!
Enjoy your weekend, friends. My mister and I are headed out for a kid-free weekend at the lake. Yep, all three of the babies are off with the grandparents and cousins. After hosting a huge crew for the 4th of July weekend, we’re excited about a quiet weekend together.
