Wow–yesterday was a great day, wasn’t it? I was blown away by your response to my Early Access Picks. Thank you, thank you, thank you for trusting me to get you ready for fall. Today I’m sharing a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dressing room roundup.
It’s always helpful to see clothes on an actual person because website pics can be deceiving. I placed a couple of orders yesterday and picked them up in my Nordstrom store. Because I’d had such a long day (that 2 a.m. wakeup call was rough!), I brought everything home to try on. I got a good night’s sleep and set up my office as a “dressing room” this morning.
Also, BIG NEWS: to make up for the website snafus yesterday, Nordstrom is offering 10 points per dollar on purchases made with your Nordstrom debit or credit card between July 12 and July 14!!! If you’ve already purchased some things, Nordstrom will make that adjustment for you! If you don’t have a card yet, you can apply for one and start shopping Early Access right away.
Here’s the set up and get ready for picture overload of what came next.
To help with sizing, I’m 5’7″ and 116 pounds. Hope this helps!
I am in love with this entire outfit. The cardigan is ribbed and really soft. It’s under $32 and comes in 6 colors. It runs large, so make sure to size down. I’ve been talking about these skinny jeans for the past 6 months, lovingly referring to them as my “favorite under $60 skinnies.” Well, as part of the sale, they’re only $38 #crazy They’re also really soft and stretchy and feel great on. I’m usually either a 25 or 26 in jeans, and I like the 25 here because it prevents saggy booty.
How amazing is this bag? It’s $46 dollars but looks so much more expensive. I love the gold hardware and the fact that you can carry by the handles or as a shoulder bag or crossbody.
These booties are another winner. They come in three colors: black, taupe, and gray. I’m wearing the taupe, and you can see the difference between taupe and gray here. I posted this pic on Instagram last night, asking for help deciding on a color. Right now, I’m leaning toward the taupe because I’m in love with another pair of gray booties you’ll see below.
I switched out the long cardigan for this olive green bomber jacket. It’s very lightweight–more of an “outfit” piece than a “keep you warm” piece. This is a popular style for fall, and this color works well with everything. Excuse the poor pic quality, but I was trying to show the grosgrain ribbon details. I also switched out my booties to the gray ones, and I think they look a bit too dark. Thoughts?
You need this t-shirt! It’s a perfect basic piece and comes in several colors. This one is navy, but I also scooped up the black, gray, and white (because at $15.90, why not?). I’m wearing a small for a more relaxed fit. It looks great tucked, half-tucked, side-tucked, and even untucked. These green jeans are definitely keepers. They’re the same brand as my favorite white jeans that were on major sale on Amazon Prime Day.
Same outfit, but with a gorgeous leather jacket. A few years ago, I fell in love with a similar jacket made by the same brand and just didn’t feel the time was right to buy it. This one is now
$348 $219.90! It’s real leather and buttery soft. This cognac color is gorgeous, but it also comes in black.
In true Anniversary Sale fashion, this blush pink pullover sold out yesterday. I’ll update you when it’s restocked, but in the meantime, I found the exact same pullover in a darker pink, navy, and green–they’re not part of the Anniversary Sale so everyone can buy them and they’re 40% off! It’s crazy soft and has a relaxed fit. Here’s another similar style in a sweater that I just added to my cart,
I love the blush pink and olive green combination here, and I also fell in major love with these velvet sneakers. Velvet is really big for fall, and these sneakers are lightweight and super comfy. These are a pretty slate gray, but they also come in black and a gorgeous plum color.
I switched out the jeans for everyone’s favorite leggings and love this look for running errands or running around with kids. My sister has a busy 1-year-old, and I know she’ll love this for going to the park and playdates.
Hmmm, not sure I’d actually be comfortable in a leather jacket and leather leggings. I felt like Sandy from Grease, but I love both of these pieces. The jacket is thick with sturdy gold hardware and looks really expensive. My sister just saw mine and cautiously asked, “How much is this?” Ummm, only $64.90.
I’ve wanted a pair of leather leggings for so long, but they usually don’t fit me correctly. Either they bunch up at my ankle area or the crotch sits too low. These, however, are PERFECT. They’re great for date night, girls’ night, and any other time you want to feel a bit spicy.
I bought this ridiculously soft cardigan last month and have worn it every morning since. It’s perfect for lounging, but it’s certainly cute enough to wear out of the house.
These booties are amazing! I put the cognac color in my Early Access collage, but when I tried them on in the store, I fell in love with this gray pair. They come in 4 colors and all of them are gorgeous. They’re a bit Western-inspired, and look more expensive than $100. They were a bit too big on me, so I ordered a half-size down.
I ordered these booties as a great everyday medium-heel option. They’re so pretty in person and come in 4 colors. Unfortunately, they don’t work for my narrow feet and skinny ankles.
Dresses are great for fall and pair well with booties and jackets. I like this one, but the lace detailing falls too low on my chest and shows the top of my bra. As for the booties, these were also one of my Early Access Picks. Again, they didn’t work for me because of my narrow feet.
Isn’t this a great crossbody bag? I’ve been waiting for this sale to scoop up one of Rebecca Minkoff’s gorgeous bags, and this one is the winner!
Y’all, these are stunning in person! They come in 3 colors and instantly make you feel like a million bucks. They’re also surprisingly comfortable because of the stacked heel. A great deal for $150.
Also be sure to take a look back at my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access Picks–I’ve updated the post with more clothes, shoes, accessories, kids and baby items, and home decor.
Enjoy your weekend, friends!
