Dress season is here! Dresses are my favorite “one-and-done” outfits. They’re effortless and will take you from day to night or work to play. Plus, in Texas, it gets so hot sometimes that pants are just not an option. Today I’m going to show you my favorite spring and summer dresses.
Let’s start with this cute little number. It’s a longtime favorite, and it’s so good for spring and summer. If you’re looking to add a dress to your wardrobe, this right here is my #1 pick. It comes in 7 colors, and the shape is flattering on everyone. Oh, and did I mention that it’s under $50?
These abalone shell earrings and sandals are also perennial favorites. The earrings have such lovely shades of blue, green and purple in them. Surprisingly, they go with everything from brights to black and white. If this shape isn’t your cup of tea, there are several other styles to choose from. I also have this abalone necklace, and I always get compliments on it.
My sandals are another staple that I’ve worn for several years. They come in TONS of colors, and they are the perfect spring/summer shoe. They also run really small. I have to size up a full size.
This clutch is actually a makeup bag. Remember it from this post on beauty essentials? I think it’s too cute to stay closed up in my bathroom cabinet. I love the colorful Mara Hoffman print, and you really can’t beat the price.
And because I’m all about versatility, look what a simple change of shoes and accessories can do. Two outfits out of one $50 dress.
Another easy breezy look for spring and summer. This time, I accessorized with a gorgeous turquoise necklace. I love this thing so much. It’s definitely a statement piece, and I love how dimensional it is. Imagine it with a white tank or even a little black dress…so many options. It also comes in other colors if turquoise isn’t your favorite.
I actually bought the pom pom clutch last summer, and it’s now on sale for $30. My espadrille wedges are still as comfy as ever. And, if you’re looking for the perfect shade of pink nail polish, I’ve found it HERE.

I know this is a busy time of year for many of you, so I’ve rounded up some other spring and summer dresses. Wear these for weddings, showers, graduations, or just for everyday errands.
One more thing, if you need a strapless bra to wear with spring and summer dresses, I cannot recommend this strapless bra enough. I actually own a couple of other styles, but this is the one I always come back to. It comes with convertible straps so you can wear it with everything, and it’s the only strapless bra that actually stays put on me. Like many of the reviewers, I ordered one cup size up and it fits perfectly.Aside from providing you with ideas for new pieces you could add to your closet, I hope I can also inspire you to mix up some things you may already have.
