Happy Friday and happy St. Patrick’s Day! Have you all had a good week? My kids have been on spring break, and we’re sad to see it winding down. We’ve split our time between relaxing at the lake and visiting family in Houston, complete with a big city rodeo (which is so fun for me and my sister who are small town girls).
In honor of ol’ St. Patrick, I’ve rounded up some green for spring. Green is the perfect color for the season. Mint, emerald, olive, kelly, lime, celadon–you really can’t go wrong.
This dress is a long-time favorite. It also comes in black, cobalt, and navy, and it runs true to size. It works great for spring and summer with wedges and sandals. You can also top it with a jacket in the fall and winter.
Depending on your height, you might be able to wear it to the office. I’m 5’7″, and I think it’s a bit short for a law firm. But my sister is 5’2″, and this was one of her work wear staples.
Speaking of my sister, this gorgeous gold cross-body bag is hers. It might just end up in my suitcase…And same for the sandals. They’re from last year, and they’re getting harder to find in stock. If your size isn’t available through the above link, you can also try HERE and HERE, and this year’s version is fully stocked at the moment.
Aren’t these green shamrock Rice Krispie treats cute? I couldn’t resist when I found them at my favorite Houston bakery, Sweet in City Centre. They have my favorite macarons, as well as tasty cupcakes, cake balls, cookies, and other treats. Definitely add it to your “must try” list if you’re ever in Houston.

Today also happens to be my nephew’s first birthday. While every birthday is special, William’s is especially so. You can read a little about his story HERE. He’s truly a miracle baby, and we are so, so grateful to be able to celebrate his life.
Enjoy your weekend, friends!
