How is your week going, lovelies? We had a wonderful trip to Santa Fe, but goodness, re-entry is hard. I’m buried under piles of laundry and smelly ski gear. We’re having gorgeous spring-like weather in Dallas this week, which makes it even harder to stay home and get stuff done.
About this time every year, I start itching. Itching for spring, and itching to change things up around my house. At the same time, I’m not looking to spend a fortune. The good news? You don’t need to spend a ton of money to make a big impact.
Switching up your home decor is as easy as adding a few new accessories. Vases, trays, mirrors, frames, or little knick knacks can give your home a little spring refresh. Today, I’m dishing about the best places to shop for home decor.
These five stores are my go-to’s for this type of shopping. They carry great pieces to fit almost any style and budget.
As if we need another reason to love Target, right? They really do a fabulous job of changing out their home decor each season. My favorite picks usually come from the Nate Berkus Collection. Depending on your store, some pieces sell out quickly and can be difficult to find. The good news is that there are so many additional offerings and even exclusive products online.
Target also offers free shipping for orders over $25, plus free returns. Oh, and the President’s Day Sale goes through Saturday–get up to 30% off home items, plus an additional 10% off with code: PRESIDENT.
I’m obsessed with West Elm’s trays. They come in gorgeous colors and are perfect for corralling items on dressers, desks, and coffee tables. Remember the one in Gracie’s room? It’s lived in almost every room in our house. Other great finds at West Elm: soft throws, fun pillows, and pretty decorative objects.
Visiting an Anthropologie store is always a treat. With a few new objects, your home can have that same Anthro smell and feel–cozy, cool, and collected. Tops on my list: anything Volcano-scented, agate coasters (which come in 7 colors), and gorgeous pots for houseplants.
Did you know Nordstrom carried home decor? I didn’t until a couple of years ago, but it makes sense because it’s basically a one-stop-shop for everything (except for groceries). I love their frames, ridiculously soft throws, and everything made by Dash & Albert. Nordstrom also carries some things by Magnolia Home (Chip & Jo’s line). As usual, it’s always free shipping and free returns.
If you live in Dallas, you probably already know about Wisteria since the brand is based here. If not, allow me to introduce you to the maker of gorgeous furniture and home decor. The price point is a bit higher, but the quality is great. Wisteria also has a wonderful online outlet with some fantastic deals that change frequently.
Do you have any favorites from the items shown here? Any other good online sources I missed? Drop me a comment or send me an email.
